According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named 'HANSOTI48' is disclosed, characterized by overall dark green leaves heavily marked with silver-green so that the overall impression is of a silvery green plant rosette. Distal 2-3 cm of each leaf is dark green with a long green tip. Leaf length is distinctly longer and narrower than in the parent cultivar, with mature leaves in typical 3-month-old plants being 14 to 16 cm long.
