According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method for rapidly aging using a closed system to process an unaged distilled spirit to produce rapidly aged spirits over a very fast period of time. A processing vessel dedicated to holding the unaged spirit and mixing the unaged spirit with charred wood staves is provided.
