ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,861, issued on Nov. 4.
"Golf simulator that folds into a cabinet" was invented by Brent William Sloan (Shadyside, Ohio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A golf simulator folds into a cabinet in the manner of a Murphy bed. Our unit allows people to play a round of golf. Then when finished, close the unit and use the space for other purposes. For example, the customer can play golf, fold up the unit and pull their car back in the garage."
The patent was filed on Oct. 31, 2023, under Application No. 18/498,735.
