ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,461,391, issued on Nov. 4.

"Eyeglasses with integral air blowers" was invented by Raymundo V. Pacheco (Roanoke, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Eyeglasses include a frame with air blowers integrally positioned within the lens frames. The blowers produce an air curtain around the frame that prevents airborne irritants from contacting the eyes. The air flow can be selectively adjusted or disabled with a control panel according to the wearer's preference."

The patent was filed on Nov. 22, 2022, under Application No. 17/992,301.
