According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A connector retains a medicine reservoir in a housing. The connector snaps onto the reservoir, the connector and reservoir are inserted into an aperture in the housing, and the connector snaps into the aperture in the housing. The connector may have a tubing and needle fixed in it to insert into the reservoir.
