ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,482,372, issued on Nov. 25.

"Systems and methods for correcting dyslexia and other reading deficiencies" was invented by David Alexander Bloch (Carlsbad, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A physical building brick for use in building words for correcting reading deficiencies, the building brick comprising a "sleeve or box" with a window, each brick having at least some anchor pieces of a certain type encased so as to allow a desired one of the anchors pieces to be scrolled to the window."

The patent was filed on July 2, 2024, under Application No. 18/761,962.
