According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is an animal barrier for use proximate bodies of water such as pools, ponds, fountains or hot tubs. The barrier comprises elongated, malleable frame members, each having opposing ends and protrusions projecting laterally therefrom.
