According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrically powered firearm training device with two main components-a simulator barrel assembly and a simulator magazine assembly. The simulator barrel assembly replaces the firearm's conventional barrel. The simulator magazine assembly replaces the firearm's conventional magazine.
