According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An automotive emergency evacuation system for use within a vehicle includes: a glass breaking system positioned proximate an automotive glass panel within a vehicle, wherein the grass breaking system is configured to selectively break the automotive glass panel when activated; and an emergency activation system configured to receive an activation signal from the vehicle and activate the glass breaking system."
