ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,121, issued on Nov. 18.
"Can wiper" was invented by Lary C. Smith (Anchorage, Alaska) and John D. Foster (Anchorage, Alaska).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An exemplary can wiper that may be inserted into the opening of a container of product, which allows excess product to be removed from an applicator as the applicator is pulled from the container through the can wiper."
The patent was filed on Nov. 7, 2024, under Application No. 18/939,789.
