"Anti-drop hanging ring of earphone" was invented by Kun-Tai Zhan (Taichung, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An anti-drop hanging ring of earphone for stably wearing an earphone is disclosed. The anti-drop hanging ring includes an elastic collar having an outer side and an inner side; an elastic connection part disposed on an outer side of the elastic collar; an end disposed on a portion of the elastic connection part away from the elastic collar. The elastic collar is attached with an earphone. When the earphone is worn on an ear, the end is abutted with an auricle of the ear."
