According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wall sanding apparatus includes a plate having a top side, a bottom side, a front edge and a rear edge. An abrasive element for sanding joint compound has an upper surface that is removably attached to the bottom side and has lower surface comprising an abrasive surface. The abrasive element has a forward edge and a rearward edge respectively corresponding to the front edge and rear edge of the plate.
