According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named 'HANSOTI59' is disclosed, characterized by foliage variegation in the form of linear bands and streaks of different grey-greens and creams along the length of the leaf, a dark green leaf border and a golden yellow suffusion towards the base of the leaf.
