"Multi-function washcloth mitt" was invented by Amanda McIntosh (Altadena, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A washcloth or mitt is used for various cleansing needs and is constructed of a single, or of multiple pieces of material."
