According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A luggage carrier includes a plurality of compartments that are located on the front face of the carrier. Each of the compartments include a flap hingedly engaged with their respective compartment. The flaps are lined with magnetic members which are engaged to a magnetic locking strip located within the compartment to effectively seal each compartment.
