According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An inflator has a tubular housing, an adaptor, a cover, and an inflation mechanism. The tubular housing is made of plastic and has two opposite ends. The adaptor is made of metal and disposed on one of the two opposite ends of the tubular housing.
