ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,465,825, issued on Nov. 11.

"Golf tee with air channel" was invented by J. Thomas Goserud (Landisville, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A golf tee comprising an air channel is described. The tee has a longitudinal axis and a perpendicular axis. The tee has an intake near the lower portion of the tee cup and a channel connects this intake to the tee cup itself such that air entering the intake of the tee is redirected to exit the tee though the tee cup along the longitudinal axis."

The patent was filed on Feb. 5, 2024, under Application No. 18/432,906.
