ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,466,688, issued on Nov. 11.
"Device for manufacturing tape with tear cuts" was invented by Gourgen Ambartsoumian (Laval, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A slitter device comprising a circular blade at an outer periphery of the slitter device. One or more row of transverse blades at the outer periphery and on a side of the circular blade, the blades of the row of transverse blades being oriented transversely relative to the circular blade."
The patent was filed on Aug. 23, 2023, under Application No. 18/454,137.
