According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cleaning solution is provided which can effectively clean and remove bacteria from a coffee maker. The cleaning solution can comprise from about 0.04 weight percent to about 0.06 weight percent hypochlorous acid, with the balance being electrolyzed oxygenated water, and wherein the cleaning solution has a pH of from about 6.1 to about 7.2.
