US Patent Issued on May 27 for "Vacuum bag, apparatus and process for the production of laminated glass elements" (Italian Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,640, issued on May 27.

"Vacuum bag, apparatus and process for the production of laminated glass elements" was invented by Davide Ricchi (Albairate, Italy).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bag for producing laminated glass elements by vacuuming includes an upper portion and a lower portion, the lower portion being stiffer than the upper portion, which is more resilient. A lamination process that uses such bag is also disclosed."

The patent was filed on Nov. 23, 2021, under Application No. 18/038,011.
