ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,310,303, issued on May 27.
"Raised planter" was invented by Yvon Roy (St. Marie, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A raised planter is provided. The raised planter comprises a tray adapted for containing soil and a plurality of support posts mounted to the tray, the support posts being adapted for supporting the tray at a predetermined height above ground."
The patent was filed on Sept. 9, 2021, under Application No. 17/471,087.
