ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,179, issued on May 27.
"Modular conveyor belt carrying products in a regular and balanced manner" was invented by Zafer Kocaman (Izmir, Turkey) and Ibrahim Bayir (Izmir, Turkey).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A modular conveyor belt is used for transportation in industry, and enables products with oval geometry that are likely to move on the belt, to be transported in a regular and balanced manner without causing any accumulation."
The patent was filed on June 2, 2021, under Application No. 18/246,433.
