ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,779, issued on May 27.
"Flush valve water supply hose bibb" was invented by Chad Morton (Phoenix) and Sherry Morton (Phoenix).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A flush valve water supply hose bibb adapted to replace an automatic flush valve, and the method of removing an automatic flush valve from an existing plumbing fixture and installing the water supply hose bibb in its place, to thereby provide a direct water source to a commercial restroom for maintenance servicing and cleaning purposes."
The patent was filed on Dec. 13, 2023, under Application No. 18/537,909.
