ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,356, issued on May 27.
"Anthelmintic heterocyclic compounds" was invented by Hannes Fiepko Koolman (Biberach an der Riss, Germany), Bart Herle (Biberach an der Riss, Germany) and Alan Long (Biberach an der Riss, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This invention provides for compounds of the formula:wherein the variables are defined herein, or salt thereof, compositions comprising these compounds, and method for the treatment, control or prevention of a parasitic infestation or infection in an animal in need thereof by administering an effective amount of these compounds to said animal."
