"Water soluble tool for clearing blockage in a toilet" was invented by Tauseef Kazi (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tool is described for a single use to break or push a clog in a toilet and that can then be disposed of into the toilet. The tool is made as a strong and flexible tool that can dissolve in water and is made from material that is environmentally safe. The tool provides a hygienic means to unclog a toilet. The tool is manufactured from a mixture comprising one or more water-soluble solids that are shredded and compacted into an elongate shape using a bonding material."
