"Two-way valve" was invented by Shiloh Williams (Upalco, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various embodiments are disclosed for a two-way valve. A two-way valve includes a valve body and a valve assembly couplable to the valve body. The valve assembly includes a first valve component and a second valve component. The first valve component is actionable to allow or prevent a first fluid flow through the apparatus in a first direction and the second valve component is actionable to allow or prevent a second fluid flow through the apparatus in a second direction opposite the first direction."
