"Cutting board and washer system and method" was invented by Peter C. Rudolf (Everett, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cutting board integrated with an associated washing device is provided. The washing device includes a kitchen appliance such as a dishwasher. The cutting board is configurable with the washing device in a variety of ways. The cutting board is incorporated into the washing device and extendable from the front of the washer for use in preparing food. After use, the board is retracted back into the washer for cleaning."
