ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,004, issued on May 20.
"Card clasp for wearing collectible cards" was invented by Christopher Ryan McCamy (Frederick, Md.) and Sara Maria McCamy (Sandviken, Sweden).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wearable trading card clasp protective case includes a backing section and a window section having a top, bottom and sides. The bottom and sides are secured on the backing section thereby defining a slot between the top and the backing section. A removable barrier is selectively positionable over the slot."
The patent was filed on Oct. 13, 2021, under Application No. 17/500,589.
