According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rehabilitation system for use with a limb brace assists a user in regaining, flexion, extension and hyperextension flexibility in an injured joint as well as aiding in resistance training in order to regain lost muscle mass about the joint.
