ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,300, issued on May 13.

"Carbon dioxide underwater delivery device and supplementation system" was invented by Glen Babcock (Missoula, Mont.) and Wendy Babcock Garrett (Missoula, Mont.).

The device consists of a container containing a biological organism such as mycelium and including an exit portal for CO2 to enter the underwater environment.
