ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,467, issued on May 13.

"Belt-secured pouch or wallet" was invented by Luka Gakovic (Victor, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wallet or pouch designed to be worn on a belt, where at least one flap covering a pocket includes one or more apertures and is secured against opening by loops that pass through the apertures, and which are "locked" by the belt passing therethrough."

The patent was filed on Sept. 13, 2022, under Application No. 17/943,332.
