ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,241,272, issued on March 4.
"Swimming pool cover" was invented by Jinxin Li (Guangdong, China).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A swimming pool cover includes a flexible cover layer, a flexible surrounding edge, a flexible wrapping edge, a tightening wire, and a tightening device. The swimming pool cover is configured to completely cover the surface of a swimming pool and provide a good protection from being blown away from the pool in windy weather."
The patent was filed on July 19, 2024, under Application No. 18/777,554.
