"Rear projection screen for a display device" was invented by Oliver Moon de Navas (Fontana, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rear projection screen for a display device includes a flexible while cloth material. The flexible white cloth material has a rear surface and a front surface, and is configured to absorb light emitted by a display device behind the rear surface and to display the light absorbed on the front surface for viewing ahead of the display device, while placed in front of the display device and in contact with a front of the display device."
