ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,424, issued on March 25.
"Polypeptides and compositions comprising the same" was invented by Kun Cheng (Overland Park, Kan.), Hao Liu (Rockville, Md.), John Fetse (Mission, Kan.) and Umar-Farouk Mamani (Mission, Kan.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Polypeptides and compositions having the polypeptides. Methods for treating cancer utilizing polypeptides and compositions having the polypeptides. The polypeptides can bind to human PD-L1 protein. The polypeptides can block the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction."
The patent was filed on Oct. 21, 2021, under Application No. 17/507,301.
