According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A label and liner assembly comprises one or more labels, the label(s) including a facestock and an adhesive layer on a surface of the facestock. A support liner is releasably adhered to the adhesive layer, the support liner defining a plurality of embossings projecting from a surface of the support liner toward or away from the label. A transfer tape and a method for assembling label material are also provided."
