ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,259,127, issued on March 25.
"Firenado insert, pit and method" was invented by Patrick Lang (Watkinsville, Ga.) and Jett J. Lang (Watkinsville, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A device to induce a fire tornado with a swirling vortex of flames rising into the air. The device includes a flame element and a series of nozzles that deliver the flow of air into the area of the flame element. The air flow is such that eddy currents are created, which along with the heat of the flames, results in inducing the fire tornado."
The patent was filed on April 12, 2022, under Application No. 17/719,331.
