ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,201, issued on March 18.

"On-vehicle helmet lock" was invented by Tamir Ottensooser (Tel Aviv, Israel) and Benjamin Yonatan Asseraf (Tel Aviv, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides an on-vehicle lock for a helmet or other device or apparatus. The lock and the helmet thereon will not obstruct vehicle movement."

The patent was filed on Nov. 21, 2020, under Application No. 17/100,824.
