US Patent Issued on March 18 for "Fence seat device" (North Carolina Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,251,022, issued on March 18.

"Fence seat device" was invented by Sharon Odom (Greensboro, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fence seat device comprised of a base with at least one track that attaches to a fence and a seat with at least one leg. The device forms a generally chair-like structure that attaches to a fence and can be folded down from the fence and sat on when used in a position facing away from the fence. When not in use, the device can fold upwards onto the fence and locked into said position."

The patent was filed on March 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/185,658.
