ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,247,549, issued on March 11.

"Optimization sensors for a mixer ejector turbine" was invented by Vincent Loccisano (Wellesley, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fluid-turbine system, method and apparatus optimizes wind-turbine performance by use of sensors embedded on a shroud and/or ejector shroud. The sensors monitor visible or audible movement, vibration, acoustic waves or temperature. A combination of sensors and monitoring means comprises a method for preventing or mitigating the negative effects of dormant failure."

The patent was filed on Feb. 24, 2024, under Application No. 18/586,434.
