ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,678, issued on March 11.

"Applicator for applying creams, serums, lotions, liquids, gels and other flowable materials" was invented by Amy Cutler (Draper, Utah).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An applicator for applying a fluid such as a cream, lotion, serum, gel or other flowable material to a substrate may have fluid reservoir, a housing in which the reservoir moves to release flowable material and an applicator head for applying the flowable material to a substrate."

The patent was filed on July 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/222,388.
