According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An anti-theft apparatus that attaches to a shift lever and a foot rest of a motorcycle includes a shackle that is sized and shaped to extend from the foot rest to the shift lever. The shackle has an open end, a second end opposite of the open end, and two elongate arms that extend between the second end and the open end.
