ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,580, issued on March 11.
"Animal trap system, method and device" was invented by Krissy Lee Faulk (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) and Christopher Lee Faulk (Port St. Lucie, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An animal trap apparatus, method and device for safely capturing live creatures such as lizards. The animal trap apparatus includes an open cage having a top opening, an elevated frame having support beams extending above the top opening and a bait container coupled with the support beams such that the bait container is suspended above the top opening of the open cage."
