"Hydrotreatment upflow reactors with high hydrogen-hydrocarbon liquid contact surface and improved hydrogenation capacity" was invented by Luigi Patron (Milan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The hydrogenation capacity of an upflow hydrocarbon hydrotreatment reactor is increased by expanding the gas-liquid contact surface."
The patent was filed on April 21, 2021, under Application No. 17/789,908.
