According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tension adjustable forearm gripping exercise device that is made with large handles with a knurled surface made of aluminum and a center portion made of steel. The device is adjustable through the tension used in securing the handles through end cylinders into a center cylinder with a securing nut.
