ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,320,603, issued on June 3.
"Firearm sound suppressor" was invented by Gustav Lo (Petoskey, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sound suppressor for a firearm includes a housing, a first sleeve, and a second sleeve. The housing extends along, and is disposed about, an axis. The first sleeve is concentrically disposed within the housing and defines a plurality of first apertures. The second sleeve is concentrically disposed within the first sleeve and defines a plurality of second apertures."
The patent was filed on Nov. 30, 2023, under Application No. 18/524,183.
