According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An exercise device is configured to detachably attached to weight plates and receive a pole that extends to a user end to enable movement of the pole to perform a variety of exercises. The exercise device couples to exercise plates with the shaft of the Y-shaped yoke extending through a plate aperture.
