"Art rack with dowels" was invented by Darren Alonzo Harris (Sicklerville, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of providing an art rack includes placing a first base rail and a second base rail, each with a plurality of top apertures on their respective top face at least one side aperture on their respective side. The first base rail and the second base are rail joined by at least one base dowel extending from the side apertures. Storage dowels extend from the top apertures, and a space between the storage dowels is operative to accommodating artwork."
