According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure relates to a method for streamlining baggage screening across modes of transportation. The method includes scanning a baggage item at an airport and uploading scanned baggage imagery of the contents and license plate identification to a secure cloud storage system.
