According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A motorized skateboard assembly for driving and steering using an input which is operated by a user's feet includes a platform with wheels attached via brackets. A drive system is operatively coupled to the wheels, and an input is electrically coupled to the drive system to operate the wheels. The input is mounted on a top side of the platform for operation by the user's feet. The input includes actuators for driving the platform forward, braking the wheels, and steering the platform while driving it forward....
