ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,705, issued on June 17.
"Incontinence care sling" was invented by Tamara Nowosiwsky (Portland, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus includes a sling and a sling anchor. The sling is configured to support a patient. The sling anchor is configured to position under a mattress of a bed, and to anchor at least one end of the sling."
The patent was filed on May 24, 2024, under Application No. 18/674,472.
